Differences between Boxing Gloves - Brands?
Each brand of kickboxing gloves and boxing gloves has its own fit and different models. It is therefore possible that one boxing glove of 14 OZ is more spacious than another brand with the same number of ounces. Boxing Gloves - Children
You often see that the very youngest kickboxers and boxers among us, so from about 6 to 9 years old, can do best with (kick)boxing gloves of 4 Oz, 6 Oz, or 8 Oz.
Boxing Gloves - Women and Boys and Girls up to about 14 years old
Women, girls and boys (9 to +-14 years) should go for a kickboxing glove between 8 Oz, 10 Oz, or 12 Oz. In general, women have quite small hands, so a glove of 10 or 12 Oz often fits well.
Boxing Gloves - Men
Adult men who are quite light (up to 70 kg) will do best with the 12 OZ kickboxing gloves.
For men from about 70 kg to about 85 kg, 14 OZ is a good choice.
Are you heavier than +-85 kilos? Then the 16 OZ gloves are usually the best choice.
